If the real world were a work of fiction, there would be

A. a lightning strike
B. a laugh track
C. an omnipresent narrator saying something like "with no apparent irony"

whenever Bubble Boy uses the word "realism."
"This business about graceful exit just simply has no realism to it at all," Bush said.

Adding, "Because, you see, I've fucked things up good over there. How you gonna exit gracefully from that mess? Nope, no graceful exit for us - we're stayin'."
The Bush Administration wanted to snoop on domestic communications, and AT&T became a partner in that effort.

Now, we learn that when the Bush Administration wanted to offer captives an all-expense paid tour of the world's torture spots, Boeing was a partner in that effort.

How many other areas are there in which the government and corporations have partnered up in order to spy, torture, or otherwise piss on people's basic human rights?

America, 2006. Take notes - our children will have questions later.
